Disney+ Launches in the UK

- Disney+ is now live in the UK
- Content includes Star Wars, Marvel, The Simpsons
- Subscription costs £5.99 per month

After waiting for what feels like forever, Disney has finally rolled out its Disney Plus (Disney+) streaming service in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Popular movies like Frozen, Moana, Toy Story, Marvel collection and others will be available from day one, and TV shows like The Simpsons will air all the seasons right from the start.

The streaming service is fastly becoming Netflix and Amazon Prime Video's biggest rival, thanks to an enormous back catalogue of Disney films and a seemingly endless supply of family favourites.

A Disney+ subscription will cost you £5.99 per month in the UK, matching the rolling cost of a Netflix subscription. Committed subscribers can also choose to purchase an annual subscription for £59.99, saving £11.89 per year.
