On Saturday night Tyson 'The Gypsy King' Fury went up against Deontay Wilder in the MGM Grand Las Vegas for the WBC World Heavyweight Championship. Wilder is regarded as boxings most dangerous puncher having 41 knockouts in his career, however going back to the first match even his powerful punch couldn't keep Fury down.
From the opening bell Fury came out with venom and continued to dominate the early rounds. In the third round he then continued his attack and dropped Wilder with a right hand to the temple and then in the fifth round a left hook to the body. Round seventh was the point of victory with at this point a beaten Wilder and blood very visible from the ear and mouth was stuck in the corner and taking punches from this beast Fury. The referee then decided to call the match along with his team throwing in the towel resulting in Fury being crowed the new WBC World Heavyweight Champion by a way of TKO.
The Gypsy King has proven that the dark times don't last and you can bring yourself out of the depths of hell. Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has promised to do everything he can to arrange a fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.
